AGM 2026

Dear SBA Members,

On behalf of the Board of the Springwood Beach Association (SBA), I am writing to formally notify you of the upcoming 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Date: May 23, 2026

Time: 10:00

Location: De La Salle Chapel, 1940 Metro Road, Jackson’s Point

The purpose of the AGM is to:

• Review and approve the minutes of the previous AGM

• Conduct elections in accordance with the SBA By-Laws

• Review and vote on proposed amendments to the By-Laws

• Review and vote for Pre-budget

• Address any other business properly brought before the meeting

Please note that, in accordance with the SBA By-Laws, a quorum of twenty-five (25) members in good standing is required for the meeting to proceed.

Positions Scheduled for Election

In accordance with the established term cycle, the following positions are scheduled for election this year:

• Vice-President

• Treasurer

• Director

The Board would also like to advise members that Sherri Bird is willing to continue serving the community as Treasurer, and David Bird is willing to continue serving as Community Advocate.

Appointment of the President

The Board confirms that, pursuant to By-Law 6.3.2(c), Natasha Lebedeva assumes the role of President for the remainder of the term resulting from a vacancy in the office of President.

Election Committee Volunteers

To ensure a fair and transparent election process, we are seeking at least three (3) members in good standing who do not intend to run in the upcoming elections to volunteer and form an Election Committee. Members interested in serving are kindly asked to notify the Board in advance of the AGM.

Members are encouraged to review all circulated materials prior to the AGM and to submit any questions or comments in advance where possible.
