Committees

As an association, we wish to give our members as much opportunity to get involved ASAP.  

Since there are more ideas and energy in 84 heads than in 5, we thought we would create two committees to allow you to participate in the development of the SBA Association.

The first committee is dedicated to our physical facilities.  Our dock and beach need attention and effort to maintain the friendly, family atmosphere that has always characterized this spot. Anyone wanting to help improve and maintain the beach and surrounding area is welcome. As a committee, you will make recommendations which will then be submitted to all members.      Your physical efforts will also be required to carry out the selected project as the funds of the SBA Association are limited.

The second committee is dedicated to fundraising.  Our members are dedicated to their association, but the projects we might want to undertake could be more expensive than the Association's current income allows.  It would be a good idea to look at ways of diversifying our source of income. Fundraising and social activities could be a good way to do so.
